Born march 17. 1956 as fish and real "Waldviertler". At the age of 14 I play the first Rock-riffs on the guitar - foundation of "Giant Blonder" with the less "longhaired guys" of the high school in Gmünd - 1982 first record, 1983 second record.
In the year 1982 I was guest at the "Bluespumpm"-tour - the chemistry was allright, so I changed 1983 from "Giant Blonder" (the chemistry went bad) to "Bluespumpm" - since 1983 member of the band, in good times and bad times - in this time 10 records where made.
Another project of mine is the duo "Blues-Zappa & Pumpm-Fritz" with Johann "Zappa" Cermak. A project of the late eighties with poet, singer and pianoplayer Johannes Maximilian Müller plus Zappa plus Fritz Glatzl was renewed after a 10 years break in the year 2001.
After almost one year of Reynhards power of persuasion I was ready - and I´m very happy about that - to continue Reynhard´s band "Harpattack" as a duo - a musical and personal extension for me (I hope for Reynhard to)!
Since about 20 years I am married with Marianne. Together we brought up two children. My surplus energy I invest in an old farmhouse. Very regulary I cut my beard to prevent those sinewy comparisons to the ZZ-Top-guitarplayer Billy Gibbons!
